In the morning at Government House, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, presided at the swearing-in of Ms Tamara Jago as a Judge of the Supreme Court of Tasmania.
Later at the Supreme Court of Tasmania, the Governor and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers attended a ceremonial sitting on the occasion of the Honourable Justice Tamara Jago taking her seat as Justice.
