Morning

In the morning at the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania, Sandy Bay, the Governor of Tasmania, Professor the Honourable Kate Warner, accompanied by Mr Warner, delivered an address as guest speaker at a meeting of the Hobart Macquarie Probus Club.

Evening

In the evening at Government House, the Governor and Mr Warner hosted a reception for the Australian Wooden Boat Festival Inc.

Vice-Regal Visit to Dorset

On 5 December Her Excellency travelled to North-East Tasmania to undertake an official visit to the Dorset municipality. Accompanied by Professor Chalmers, Her Excellency visited schools, businesses and community facilities in Scottsdale, Branxholm, Bridport and Derby.
